CORNBREAD: THE MAN, THE MYTH, THE LEGEND. Yep. I saw a DJ set on the Broad Street Line train last week—and it was super cool. It all went down the same night as the Eagles game. The DJs rode the BSL all the way up and back, and everything about it felt very intentional. Very guerilla. Very DIY. Even the moments that weren’t planned somehow made sense. You know those days where everything just clicks? Then later when you’re home, you realize: “Damn…that was actually a good day.” That’s exactly how I felt after this show. Some days I walk around the city and see beautifully aged signage and get inspired. Recently I’ve been spotting old, worn-down, rained on, beauty salon pictures and I love how they look. I wanted to try to recreate the look &amp; feel of these aged beauty salon signs with a technique that felt unique. I dig how these turned out and will definitely be adding this to designs in the future.
